Random Chuck E. Cheese Employees Describe Wildest Things They've Ever Seen

  • (#6) They Saw Lots Of Vomit In The Wind Tube

    From a Redditor:

You'd be surprised at how often they puke in the... wind tube.

  • (#3) The Head Of The Animatronic Singing Chicken Fell Off

    From Redditor /u/KatyLiedTheBitch:

My brother used to work there.

Know the animatronic singing animals they have? The head of the chicken (named Helen) fell clean off.

Shortly after, the girl that was dressed as Chuck E. fainted because it got hot as f*ck in that suit.

  • (#8) A Family That Drank Too Much Left Their Child At The Restaurant

    From Redditor /u/bfaithr:

My brother used to be the general manager at [a Chuck E. Cheese] and he has a few [stories]. I'll tell the one that stuck out the most to me:

This one family comes in - mostly adults and one little kid (about 4). The adults let the kid play while they drank beer (they do sell beer, surprisingly). Chuck E. Cheese has a limit of... beers per person, but this family was already a little tipsy when they got there. My brother didn't think anything about it... until closing time. The family left the little kid there.

They called the police and somehow got the family to come back. By this point the family was drunk. The family drove there and they were trying to get the kid in the car with them. The cops [detained] the family. I don't know what happened to the kid though.

  • (#15) A Woman Drove Her Car Into The Restaurant - And The Venue Stayed Open

    From Redditor /u/salb3039:

We never had anyone steal or damage anything of huge value. One time an older lady put her car in drive instead of reverse and drove through the front of the building.

It happened right before I started, but I was told they didn't close that day and stayed open during repairs despite a gaping hole in the front of the building.

  • (#5) No One Cleaned The Rodent Costume

    From Redditor /u/hitchhikingghost_:

We never really had a set person to dress up [as Chuck E. Cheese]; it was usually whoever wasn’t busy. A lot of the guys would spray themselves with cologne after taking [the costume] off, so it was a little like a boys' locker room inside the closet.

It wasn’t a super-disgusting costume because we did spray and wipe it down after we took it off, but it most likely was not clean. The managers were supposed to take it to get deep-cleaned every so often, but I never actually saw that happen.

  • (#2) They Saw Lots Of Bodily Secretions In The Ball Pits

    From Redditor /u/ginty:

[Poop] and urine in the tubes and ball pits.

    So. Much. Vomit.
