(#4) At Disneyland, The Weather Is Basically Always Perfect
If you go to Disneyland, you'll also be visiting Anaheim, CA. Most of the time, the temperature will be in the range of 70-90°F during daylight hours, before cooling down to a sweet 55°F at night. Occasionally, a heatwave might push temperatures above 100°F, and it does rain once in a blue moon, but both of those occurrences are pretty rare.
Things are very different at Disney World in Orlando, FL. There, the temperatures might be a bit higher, but visitors also have a crushing wave of humidity to look forward to. In terms of rainfall, Orlando experiences frequent downpours, especially between June and September. Some rain at the park isn't the end of the world, but since most attractions are outdoors, a poorly placed shower can ruin one's whole trip.

(#6) Disneyland Has Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Like many of the classic Disney rides, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride seems silly on the surface, but contains some very dark undertones. The ride recreates The Wind in the Willows, and patrons tag along with an out-of-control driver who crashes into a library, nearly runs over a baker carrying pies, drives into a courthouse, meets a judge who finds him guilty, and eventually drives into Hell.
The whole thing is incredibly ridiculous, and is an absolutely essential part of any trip to Disneyland. It was one of the original rides at the park, and was initially also a feature of Disney World. However, while the Disneyland Mr. Toad is still around, the one at Disney World closed in 1998.

(#3) The Disneyland Haunted Mansion Gets A 'Nightmare Before Christmas' Makeover For The Holidays
Both Disneyland and Disney World include The Haunted Mansion — a ride that takes attendees through a home filled with ghosts and other spooky creatures — but only Disneyland gives their mansion a special seasonal makeover called Haunted Mansion Holiday.
This annual overlay transforms the ride into a journey involving the characters from A Nightmare Before Christmas. Since the decorations are appropriate for both Halloween and Christmas, Haunted Mansion Holiday goes up in late September and continues through the end of the year.

If you want to cool off by taking some refreshing water directly to the face, there's a Splash Mountain at both Disneyland and Disney World. However, if you ride at Disneyland, you're going to get a little extra splash, especially if you sit in the front of your log. On the other hand, if you hope to get through Splash Mountain without getting soaked, you might prefer the one at Disney World (although that kind of defeats the whole purpose of the ride).

Both Disneyland and Disney World have a Pirates of the Caribbean ride, which inspired the movie franchise of the same name. However, the ride at Disneyland has a little bit more to offer guests. The Disneyland version features two drops, whereas the Disney World ride has only one. Additionally, Disneyland's Pirates ride has more special effects, such as wind blowing from cannons and shadowy projections of pirates fighting. To top it off, Disneyland's ride lasts for over 15 minutes, whereas Disney World's clocks in at around eight.

While price shouldn't be the determining factor in what makes one park better than the other, it's easily quantifiable, and a major concern for many Americans. While the actual admission price may vary depending on the day, a typical one-day ticket to Disney World will run you $115, while at Disneyland, it's $110.
If you visit the parks during one of the off-peak days, the difference is even more striking. At Disney World, the price will drop as low as $107 for a single-day pass, but at Disneyland you can get in for as little as $97. If you're planning to visit all the parks contained on Disney's Orlando compound, park-hopper tickets are considerably more expensive than passes that grant access solely to the Magic Kingdom. Luckily, Disneyland isn't nearly as fragmented, so attendees can see all it has to offer without forking over extra cash.
