Although there have been a few El Diablos in the DC Universe, Hernandez plays the Chanto Santana version of the character. Diablo is a convict with the power of pyrokinesis - the power to control and start fires using his mind. Although a gang member and criminal, Diablo isn't a remorseless killer, which might not play well with the rest of the Suicide Squad.

In the comics, Deadshot is the Suicide Squad. He is the best marksman in the DC Universe, having never missed (except that time against Batman) and having access to an advanced arsenal. Floyd Lawton is usually the leader, and represents the interesting dynamic of the Suicide Squad: a bad guy with something to lose. In Lawton's case, he wants a better life for his daughter.

He is a master of all throwing weapons and carries a collection of specialty boomerangs that can explode on impact. Although the members on Task Force X kind of walk the line between bad and straight up evil, Boomerang is the Squad's straight up loud mouth jerk. -

Harley Quinn is probably the most recognizable character in this lineup since her meteoric rise in fandom, originating in Batman: The Animated Series. Harleen Quinzel originally acted as the Joker's "My Girl Friday" and was his assistant/girlfriend. As her character evolved, her clothes got skimpier, and she is now a trained member of the Suicide Squad. -
