  When the contemptible Shou Tucker tells Edward Elric that what he and Alphonse tried to do by bringing his mother back to life was no different from Tucker's chimeras, Edward screams that that isn't true, and pummels Tucker into a bloody pulp. Most satisfying moment in FMA? Arguably - but it's also a deeply sad one.

  Let's take a look at a more humorous example of the trope - Ranma Saotome's reaction to cats. Though otherwise a tough guy, Ranma is petrified of felines because his dad used to wrap him in sausages and fish and kick him into a pile of hungry cats. This was supposed to teach him martial arts, but all it really did was give him a phobia.

  So, what does Ranma do when surrounded by cats? He enters a 'berserker mode' where he starts acting like an angry, spitting cat himself. While he's easily manipulated due to his decreased brainpower, he's also extremely hard to deal with, since he'll scratch people's faces off without a second thought.

  (#20) Seishuu Handa Punches A Calligraphy Appraiser In 'Barakamon'

  Nobody likes having their artwork criticized, but when you're constantly stressed out the way Seishuu Handa is, that criticism can trigger a berserker mode reaction. Rather than humbly swallow the negative things that a calligraphy appraiser has to say about his work, Handa slugs the old man in the face. 

  This leads to Handa's father banishing him to a remote island where he can calm down and get away from any negative publicity that might have come from the event.

  This trope is actually one of Hatsuharu's defining character traits. Whenever he gets angry, a switch inside his mind is flipped, and he becomes 'Black Haru' - an aggressive and violent version of his normally cheerful self. This state is triggered multiple times throughout the series, leading him to wreck his classroom or start fights with Kyo, but the most dramatic moment comes in the manga. Be warned, there are spoilers ahead. 

  After Akito shoves Hatsuharu's girlfriend Rin off of a roof, he storms into Akito's room and threatens to end Akito's life. Considering the fact that Akito is - quite literally - the god that Hatsuharu and the rest of the Sohma family are welded to through love and obligation, as well as the person who controls every aspect of Haru's life, the fact that he's able to stand up to Akito, let alone threaten extreme violence, is incredible.

  (#19) Mob Reaches ???% In 'Mob Psycho 100'

  When Teru tries to get Mob to fight him using his full powers, Teru chokes Mob until he falls unconscious. However, this only awakens Mob's true powers as he reaches a level that is beyond numbers. Before this, viewers have only seen Mob reach 100%, a level that is already terrifying. But this new level that reads as "???%" proves that Mob is capable of destroying practically anything if his emotions are unleashed.

  (#8) Vegeta Goes Super Saiyan On Beerus After He Slaps Bulma in 'Dragon Ball Super'

  In this awesome fight scene, Vegeta proves that no one can hurt his wife and get away with it. When Bulma berates Beerus for ruining her birthday party, Beerus slaps her and knocks her onto the ground. Vegeta becomes furious at the sight of his wife getting hurt and transforms into a Super Saiyan 2. Even Master Roshi is amazed as he remarks how his anger has made him even stronger than Goku.
