The Flash, a DC Comic Superhero, debuted in Flash Comics # 1(January 1940). Several characters in the history of DC comics have used the term flash. The flash is best known for his debut in Showcase No. 4(October 1956) and for Barry Allen Wester (Wally West), who succeeded Bary as the new flash in 1986, for more than 20 years, they have starred in the comic book magazine the Flash.
