In Princess Mononoke, Akihiro Miwa doesn't just play a female, he plays a stoic female wolf goddess. He also appears as The Witch of the Waste in Howl's Moving Castle, another Miyazaki film. Although if we're being honest, applying any kind of binary sexuality to Miwa seems kind of silly.

We don't know why the producers of Sonic Underground thought of Jaleel White, better known as Family Matters' Steve Urkel for the part of the Sonia, the high-pitched hedgehog that's prone to getting the guys in trouble, but it probably has something to do with him voicing most of the hedgehog-related cast. Do you get time and a half for extra characters?

If you've ever watched any reruns of the Rocky and Bullwinkle show, or the old George of the Jungle cartoon then you might remember Gertie Growler as a the curmudgeonly old mechanic who helped Tom Slick out with his car. Both of those characters were voiced by Bill Scott, the creator of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
