About This Tool
In 2013, horsemeat was detected in some beef products in Sweden, the United Kingdom, and France, and Germany also announced the discovery of suspected food safety issues. Many European countries such as Ireland, the Netherlands, and Romania have been involved in scandals. Although horse meat has always been considered edible in some European countries, the use of horse meat instead of beef and labeled 100% beef products has caused complaints and protests.
The scandal involved some of the world's largest brands, this random tool lists 11 famous companies that sealed horse meat. The scandal made many consumers change their consumption habits, they would no longer buy cheap processed meat products, and some even no longer buy processed meat products.
