  Signature Accessories: She’s often depicted as holding two torches. She’s also known to have multiple dog familiars, and the sounds of dogs often signal her arriving from the underworld. She’s sometimes represented as three women: the maiden, the mother, and the crone. 

  Strengths: She was born a Titan and has the power of land, sea, and sky. But she also has some ties to the underworld. Her power comes from the thin area between worlds. She can send out creatures from the underworld to teach people magic.

  Weaknesses: Like the other Greek gods, she’s likely vulnerable to Zeus’s thunderbolt.

  Greatest Magical Feat: She’s the only person to hear Persephone when she is taken by Hades. She leads Demeter into the underworld to help retrieve her daughter.

  Strengths: She is very gifted at creating portals to teleport herself, and adept at channeling elements like fire and lightning. 

  Weaknesses: Magic is about controlling chaos. Her traumatic upbringing and questionable emotional management make it difficult for her to not get consumed by her powers. 

  Greatest Magical Feat: In the Netflix series, she's able to absorb the fires of Sodden Hill and unleash them on the Nilfgaardian army.

  Weaknesses: Her muggle heritage has made her unaware of some aspects of magic.

However, due to her preparedness and advanced awareness of spells, she is able to evade capture. According to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, she becomes Minister of Magic.

  Reputation: Sabrina Spellman-Morningstar is part mortal and part witch. But it’s revealed she’s the child of the dark lord of hell, Lucifer Morningstar.

  Strengths: She can teleport and cast spells. She also has all of the powers of hell at her disposal. She is able to summon up hellfire and even destroy angels. 

  Weaknesses: Her human emotions do hold her back. She often makes choices based on what she wants rather than what’s best for everyone.

  Reputation: Ursula is known throughout the ocean as “The Sea Witch.” She was also King Triton's sister in the original script, and some versions of The Little Mermaid reinstate this fact. 

  Signature Accessories: Her familiars, Flotsam and Jetsam, are electric eels that follow her around and do her bidding.  

  Strengths: She is great at crafting a deal. She's not only able to trick Ariel into giving up her voice, but also uses that contract to leverage control over the ocean. 

  Weaknesses: She underestimates her opponents. Also, despite all of her magic, she is not invulnerable, and is easily vanquished. 

  Greatest Magical Feat: With King Triton’s trident, she is able to grow to a giant size and create an enormous vortex in the ocean.

  Reputation: Winifred Sanderson is known throughout Salem, Massachusetts. Her exploits become required reading for the children of the town, and there’s even a museum built in the old house she shared with her sisters, Mary and Sarah. 

  Signature Accessory: She doesn’t go anywhere without her wicked spellbook, which is bound in human skin and was given to her by the devil himself.  

  Strengths: She can cast spells from her book. She can fly on a broom and bewitch people with her singing voice. 

  Weaknesses: A circle of salt can protect you from her power, and she cannot set foot on hallowed ground. She’s also been gone for a few hundred years, so she is easily outmatched and confused by modern items. 

  Greatest Magical Feat: She puts a spell on all the adults of Salem with an impromptu song and dance.

  Reputation: Her home can often seem like Grand Central Station with the large number of magical people going in and out. But her reputation is more for not using her magic than it is for her particular abilities.

  Strengths: She can seemingly do anything with magic. She teleports, makes things move, and is rarely at a loss for words when she needs to cast a spell in a rush. She also seems to have a better handle on her powers than some of her relatives, whose spells often go awry.

  Weaknesses: She actively chooses not to do magic to appease her magic-phobic husband Darren. 

  Greatest Magical Feat: She becomes queen of all witches in Season 4 of the series.

  Weaknesses: She’s over 400 years old. The more she uses her magic, the faster she ages and the weaker she becomes. 

  Greatest Magical Feat: She casts a spell on Ditchwater Sal that makes it so she cannot see, hear, or touch Yvaine.

  Greatest Magical Feat: She’s one of the few non-princesses to be able to use an Etherian rune stone, the Black Garnet.

  Signature Accessory: In the past, she was best known for her gingerbread house. In the present, she’s often seen knitting. 

  Strengths: She is seemingly omniscient, knowing things she shouldn't - and often seems to be playing some larger game. She is more powerful than the Adversary, and may be invulnerable. 

  Weaknesses: She requires child sacrifices to replenish her power. 

  Greatest Magical Feat: If she is to be believed, the destruction of the Adversary by Fabletown was all her doing.
