  Pet owners know the eerie feeling of seeing your cat or dog watch something you can't see, and this dog owner put their pet's extra senses to the test. Captured in 2008, the footage starts off with radio interference and an orb, but gets substantially weirder. A door opens and shuts on its own, a roll of paper towels goes flying, and the dogs bark and retreat from something behind where the camera is sitting. It's a freaky scene, one that's not easily explained by camera tricks.

  (#5) Exploring A Haunted Mine Reveals A Past Disaster

  YouTube user Exploring Abandoned Mines is known for exactly that - exploring abandoned mines. So when he ran into something strange while exploring the Horton Mine in 2013, it was a surprise to all. Upon returning in 2014, he experienced strange machine sounds, an unearthly mist, and what sounded like a woman on a PA system warning of an incoming detonation. While there's not much to see in the video beyond the interior of an old mine, the audio is quite scary - just clear enough to be understood, but just out of place enough to send chills up your spine.

  (#9) A Young Couple Looks To Move After Ghost Apparently Harms Their Child

  A young couple, Joshua Higgins and Heather Brough, set up a nanny cam after they discovered deep purple scratches on their child's face. The scratches did not line up with the baby's own hands, provoking the unsettling mystery. The footage they captured shows a translucent figure moving swiftly across the room as the baby pops up from her crib to take a gander at what is going on. 

  Higgins and Brough recalled several unsettling events in the house, included unexplained noises and the feeling of hands around Brough's neck. They have since left the Michigan home and plan to seek alternative housing solutions for the safety of themselves and their daughter.

  (#7) Urban Explorers Accidentally Capture A Ghost In A Hoodie

  Urban explorers have to be prepared for the unexpected, and in the case of this group, they certainly found something unusual. While exploring an abandoned home, this group saw something strange - a dark figure that appeared to be wearing a hoodie gliding by on an upper floor.

  Skeptics claim it's a homeless person or a friend playing the part of the ghost. But it's the movement that's uncanny, as the figure glides eerily by the camera like it's floating, not like it's walking. That, combined with the fact it shows up more than a minute into the video, has many convinced that it's a truly mysterious apparition.

  (#6) Mischievous Spirit Pesters A Video Store Employee

  Anybody who's ever worked a lonely night shift has probably experienced the eerie feeling of something watching you, but this video store employee has proof that something strange was happening. This security footage shows the employee putting away videos, but, more interestingly, it shows strange events happening when his back is turned. The cart moves on its own, as if pushed by an unseen person, and videos begin falling from the shelves. After a few weird moments, the videos fall off in front of him, clearly not pushed by anything we can see. While running away may not be the most exciting response, let's be real - it's what most of us would do if we thought a ghost was messing with us at work.

  The first part of this video, in which a man is woken up by the sound of crying and finds a crouching figure in the hallway, is scary enough. But when he returns for another glimpse at the figure, he finds it closer, its arms in the air, making it less likely to be a figment of his imagination and more likely to be some otherworldly presence in his home.
