  (#1) Justin Bieber And The Black Keys

  The feud between Justin Bieber and The Black Keys, specifically drummer Patrick Carney, got ugly quickly. It began on social media after Carney criticized Bieber for winning a Grammy Award. Bieber clapped back, tweeting Carney needed "[to be] slapped around." The pop star's fans soon began bullying the drummer on Twitter, with one even wishing he'd die.

  "He should be grateful that he has a f*cking career in music," Carney said following the beef. "And he shouldn't be f*cking telling his followers to slap me, and then also be doing anti-bullying bullsh*t. It's so irresponsible."

  (#2) Kanye West And Taylor Swift

  The feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift is the most infamous in pop music history. The problems started when West grabbed the mic away from Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to denounce Swift winning the award over Beyoncé. West later apologized, and the pair seemed fine for a while. They even photographed together at the 2015 Grammy Awards. Swift also presented West with the MTV Video Vanguard Award.

  Things changed when West unveiled his song "Famous," which included lines about how he made Swift famous. Everything fell apart when Swift criticized the song. West's wife Kim Kardashian later posted a secretly recorded video clip purported to show Swift knew about the song in advance and approved of it. There was some heated back-and-forth on social media, and things worsened from there.

  The feud between Nirvana and Guns N' Roses is one of the most well-documented in rock history. It didn't start bad: GnR frontman Axl Rose, an admitted Nirvana fan, invited Kurt Cobain and company out on tour in 1992. Cobain refused because he deemed Rose a sellout.

  The comments angered Rose, who called Cobain and wife Courtney Love "f*ckin' junkies" and claimed their child had birth defects because of their drug use. The whole thing came to blows at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards, when Love sarcastically asked Rose to become their daughter's godfather.

  "You shut your b*tch up, or I'm taking you down to the pavement!" Rose told Cobain in response. Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic also sparred backstage with GnR bassist Duff McKagan at the awards show. The feud cooled when Cobain died, and band members have since patched things up - with Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl collaborating onstage with Axl Rose and Slash several times.

  Keith Richards and Elton John have fought for almost as long as their respective music careers. The Rolling Stones guitarist and the legendary singer have dissed each other in the press over a few decades, with Richards saying he "won't miss" John when he retires from touring.

  The peak of their rivalry came in 1997 when Richards slammed John for re-recording a 1973 tribute to Marilyn Monroe in honor of Princess Diana.

  It would be awful to be like Keith Richards. He's pathetic, poor thing. It's like a monkey with arthritis, trying to go onstage and look young. I have great respect for the Stones, but they would have been better if they had thrown Keith out 15 years ago... I just think he's an assh*le and I have for a long time.

  The feud between Prince and Michael Jackson never aired-out in public, but leaked audio of Jackson in 1988 revealed how much he disliked his fellow legend.

  "I don't like to be compared to Prince at all," Jackson said. "I have proven myself since I was real little. It's not fair. He feels like I'm his opponent. I hope he changes because boy, he's gonna get hurt. He's the type that might commit suicide or something."

  Jackson also referred to Prince as "very rude."

  "Prince is very competitive. He has been very mean and nasty to my family," he said.

  White Stripes guitarist Jack White had a problem with the stylistically and instrumentally similar-sounding Black Keys for years, dating back to when he banned Keys singer Dan Auerbach from visiting his Nashville studio. The beef intensified when divorce proceedings revealed emails White sent to his now-ex wife, who was attempting to put their kids in the same school as Auerbach's kids.

  "That's a possible twelve f*cking years I'm going to have to be sitting in kids chairs next to that asshole with other people trying to lump us in together," one email read.

  After a reported confrontation with drummer Patrick Carney at a bar in New York, White squashed the beef with the band by calling Carney and setting the record straight.

  "Talked to Jack for an hour; he's cool. All good," Carney tweeted.

  "From one musician to another, you have my respect Patrick Carney," White tweeted soon after.

  The feud between brothers and Oasis founders Noel and Liam Gallagher has gone on for decades, almost since the beginning of their band. Noel first quit the band in 1994 following their first tour, citing tensions between him and his frontman brother. They patched things up and he rejoined, but things got more complicated once they skyrocketed to fame.

  There were, in the years following their immense fame, some awkward interactions - including one show where a supposedly sick Liam sat in the audience and mocked his brother while he covered the vocals onstage.

  Noel left the band again in 2000, but they patched things up enough to come back together. Noel finally left the band once and for all in 2009, and the siblings never repaired things between them.

  Morrissey appears to dislike many things and people, and Robert Smith of The Cure is no exception. The pair's feud began when a journalist asked Morrissey who he'd kill first if he were in a room with The Fall's Mark E. Smith, The Cure frontman, and a loaded gun. Morrissey responded by saying he'd essentially kill them both, prompting a frustrated response from Smith.

  In 1993 Smith again referenced Morrissey in an interview, saying he "never liked him."

  Morrissey ultimately responded by calling Smith a "fat clown with makeup weeping over a guitar."

  Rihanna and Ciara's beef started when the latter claimed on TV the two ran into each other at a party, and RiRi "wasn't the nicest."

  "It's crazy, because I've always loved and respected what she's done in fashion. It wasn't the most pleasant run-in," Ciara said.

  Rihanna responded on Twitter, shading Ciara in the process. "My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u?" she wrote.

  The tweets progressed more intensely until things calmed down when both ultimately apologized. "Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I'm heartbroken! That's y I retaliated this way! So sorry," Rihanna wrote.

  Ciara responded by saying there has "always been love" between them.

  (#10) Taylor Swift And Katy Perry

  Blame John Mayer for a feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Both singers dated the guitarist, and things became awkward in the process. Swift later revealed Perry "tried to sabotage an entire arena tour" and did something so unpleasant to her, she perceived them as "straight-up enemies."

  Perry also infamously referred to Swift in a tweet as "Regina George in sheep's clothing," referring to the movie Mean Girls.

  Since then, the two have exchanged niceties and remained relatively civil, but there wasn't any formal squashing of beef until May 2018 when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch as a way of patching things up.

  Mark Kozelek of Sun Kil Moon is an outspoken guy, but one of his most infamous moments came in 2014 when he badmouthed indie band The War on Drugs. He did so because noise from their set drowned out his own set on another stage. In response, he recorded a song called "War on Drugs: Suck My C*ck."

  War on Drugs singer Adam Granduciel responded by calling Kozelek "such a douche" - which Kozelek responded to by recording yet another song slamming the band, "Adam Granofsky Blues." Talk about a strange feud.

  (#12) Oasis And Blur

  The feud between Oasis and Blur began in 1995 at a party, where Damon Albarn and Liam Gallagher reportedly clashed. It was a far cry from where the two bands were just months before, when they praised each other and were seemingly friendly.

  The feud continued for decades, and increased after Liam's brother and ex-Oasis partner Noel Gallagher recorded with Albarn. Later, Albarn sarcastically questioned Liam Gallagher's opinion of his band's new song in 2017.

  "No one's asked Liam what he thinks about the song yet," Albarn said. "No doubt he'd have a fantastic one-liner about what a bunch of f*cking knobheads we are."

  Liam did, posting on Twitter: "That gobsh*te out of Blur might have turned Noel Gallagher into a massive girl but believe you me, next time I see him there's gonna be war."
