About This Tool

The 15 supersites documented in the random tool are a list of Superfund Sites designated by Arkansas under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (Cercle) environmental law. These locations on the website are listed as “Important sites for environmental restoration that require further investigation” and are currently a priority for the government.

From the generator, you can see in detail the specific number of these sites, where the city area information, causes, detailed dates recorded, and so on. Some have been removed from the site because they have been restored, but much of the restoration is a long and drawn-out process that requires the government and people to work together to restore at least some of the original appearance.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Superfund sites in Arkansas.
