Stan Getz was once an outstanding saxophone player in the world and a representative figure in the jazz field. In the past when swing or Bebop was popular, players almost always chose drums or bass for rhythm instruments. However, Stan Getz retained Bebop's unique style in his performance, making his saxophone sound quite rich and beautiful.
