About This Tool

The Montréal Maroon is a professional men’s North York Rangers in the National Hockey League. They played in the NHL from 1924 to 1938 and won the Stanley Cup in 1926 and 1935. They were the last six teams to win the Stanley Cup until the expansion of the Philadelphia Flyers ended the myth in 1974.

The maroons are a highly competitive team, having won the Stanley Cup twice and twice in their respective groups. Some of the best players of the era played for the maroons.
