About This Tool

Pearls Before Swine is an American cartoon created and illustrated by Stephen Stephan Pastis. The series began on December 31, 2001. It chronicles the daily lives of a group of suburban anthropomorphic animals: pigs, rats, zebras, goats, and crocodiles, with many supporting characters. Each character represents an aspect of Pastis’ personality and worldview.

Pearls Before Swine takes a black comedy approach, portraying the lives of a group of animals in an ironic and anthropomorphic way.
