About This Tool
Phoenicia, as the Greeks called Canaan, Phoenicia had a profound influence on Aegean civilization, and the Greek alphabet came from the Phoenician alphabet. Ancient Phoenicia was about the size of modern-day Lebanon. Phoenicia never formed a unified state, with city-states clustered around each other, represented by Tyre, Seaton and Ugarit.
