Botswana is a landlocked country in southern Africa. At the same time, it is one of the countries in Africa with rapid economic development and good economic condition. The government has attached great importance to national education since independence, with the adult literacy rate rising from less than 10 per cent in 1966 to 88.6 per cent in 2014. The random tool collected information from 233 local schools with a well-established education system consisting of formal and vocational technical education at the primary, secondary and university levels, special school education and part-time education for seven years at the primary level and three years at the junior secondary level, two years of high school.

Primary and lower secondary education is free of compulsory education, primary and higher education, and secondary education has been fee-splitting since 2006, and tuition fees are mostly paid by the government.
