About This Tool
Sri Lanka is an island nation in the Indian Ocean. Its Air Force was set up in 1951 with the assistance of the Royal Air Force. The Air Force has more than 160 aircraft of all types, 27,400 soldiers, and 1,300 officers, including reservists. The main task of the Air Force is to support the ground, troops airborne, airstrikes, also can carry out high-altitude and low-altitude air defense operations. Only 15 of these forces were selected at random to be introduced, including air force formations of different ranks.
According to this list compiled by the generator tool, Sri Lanka’s air force squadrons can be divided into the current and the old SLAF flying squadrons. They are primarily responsible for air security in Sri Lanka and co-ordinate daily patrols and monitor the international situation. Many of these squadrons were imported from other countries and did not have the advantage of manufacturing their own.
