About This Tool

Approved by Congress in 1949, the National Foundation for the preservation of history has grown from a foundation to a 270,000-member, non-profit organization, a leader in the movement to preserve America’s cultural heritage. Although the foundation was established by the United States Congress, it was under pressure from citizens to protect their cultural heritage. Congress has been funding the foundation. To date, there are 107 organizations in different states and cities across the country, and a detailed list is compiled in this random tool.

The non-governmental organization plays an important role in the United States. The main work of the foundation is to promote the protection of cultural heritage, including the promotion of relevant government policies. Another function of the foundation is to draw public attention to the protection of cultural heritage by making it known through the media which cultural heritage is under threat. In addition, over time, the partners documented in the generator have expanded to cover a wide range of historical, urban, and housing protection categories.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Statewide and Local Partners of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
