About This Tool

Unlike Scotland and Northern Ireland, Wales is not an independent jurisdiction in the UK. Wales, as part of the Kingdom of England, its customary law was repealed by King Henry VIII’s Law of Wales Act to bring Wales into line with English law. Although Wales now has a devolved parliament, but any law passed by the Welsh National Assembly is enacted within policy areas defined by the Welsh Government Act of 2006 or other acts of the British Parliament.

But almost every year the Welsh Government revises or supplements new legal instruments. In 2007, the randomizer recorded the details of 412 changes they had made to the law. From the generator you can also see the specific number of each legal instrument, the specific time of publication, the main radiation range and the focused issues addressed.
