About This Tool

Stenotabanus Species adults are larger than normal flies, have large heads, and have tiny hairs on their bodies, like bees. Degenerated mouthparts, do not ingest food, mainly by sucking the blood of mammals for a living. The species is spread across the globe, and only 100 of them were selected for introduction in this random tool. If you want to take a closer look at the details of these different varieties, you can also look them up in the generator.

Many of these Stenotabanus Species live in the wild. Eggs are laid on the hair of horses, donkeys, mules, etc. . Hatchlings are carried by animals to their stomachs, which is the largest form of the species. The generator also contains the full scientific name of each species under the species, its principal discoverer, and the specific time of discovery, which are listed in the international insect register.
