About This Tool

The Sundance Film Festival is one of the world’s premier independent Film festivals. Founded by Robert Redford in 1984, the Sundance Film Festival is held annually for 11 days from January 18 to 28 in Park City, Utah. Many filmmakers use the platform as a way to network, find new talent, and use it as a springboard for different purposes.

Since its inception, the random tool has recorded a total of 869 outstanding films that have won the Sundance Film Festival Awards. Since 1987, there have been a number of small budget local film nominations each year, and the awards are expected to raise the profile of their films. And from the list compiled by the generator, we can also see that almost every year around 10 movies win the award. The influence of the exhibition has been growing in recent years. It aims to encourage low-budget, independent films that have a very different message from Hollywood films.
