Prince Michael "Blanket" Jackson was born via an unidentified surrogate in 2002. Prince attended Loyola Marymount College in Los Angeles and launched his own production company. The company, appropriately called King's Son Productions, concentrates mainly on music videos, though Prince hopes to eventually transition to film production. "I enjoy bringing creative people together, and helping them make something," he said. He has worked with the Sco Triplets and Nano. "Michael 'Prince' Jackson aims to enable creative people across art forms to realize their dreams," his official company bio reads. Of all MJ's children, Paris Jackson has led the most public life. She has shared her story of addiction and her struggles with depression, which have included suicide attempts. "I was doing a lot of things that 13-, 14-, 15-year-olds shouldn't do. I tried to grow up too fast, and I wasn't really that nice of a person," she told Rolling Stone. Paris eventually got help and is now sober and recovering. She briefly attended community college before embarking on a career as a model and actress.

Prince Jackson has carried on his father's philanthropic legacy. He started the nonprofit Heal Los Angeles, an organization dedicated to working with kids who have aged out of the foster care system. The charity is also focused on continuing the works of Michael's Heal the World Foundation. "I think he would definitely be proud of the type of work that we're doing," Prince told Today. "I think it's just the way my dad raised me and my siblings. It's just like something that's bred into us to really give back to the community."

After reportedly enduring years of bullying, Blanket decided to go by a different name. "He always thought that the name Blanket sounded so stupid and resented his father for calling him that," a source close to the family told Radar Online. "Growing up, his school mates have always been slightly mean to him because of their jealousy over who he is and going by Blanket made him a much easier target for ridicule." But in true Jackson fashion, Blanket didn't pick a name like Phil or Carl. He changed his name to Bigi, surely an improvement over Blanket but still an odd choice.

Prince Jackson has discussed his love of motorcycles in interviews, but in November of 2017, he was involved in what was reportedly a terrifying bike-related experience. While riding his motorcycle to school in a light rain, Prince was struck by another vehicle. Fortunately, his injuries were minor. He was treated and released and even made it to school in time for his classes. In a sign that the Jackson kids have fully acclimated to the modern world, he posted images of his wounds to his Instagram account.

(#8) The Kids Stand To Inherit Nearly $1 Billion
Prince, Paris, and Bigi have the freedom and resources to lead whatever lives they choose to lead. In addition to carrying on the Jackson name and all the perks that that entails, the kids also stand to inherit a mind-boggling sum, beginning on their 30th birthdays. Michael's estate, valued at around $1 billion, will be divided among the three. Each will receive a third of the share at age 30, another half at 35, and the remaining at 40. But significant debts may bring that total down considerably. Regardless, the Jackson kids should still retain, at the very least, enough to ensure they are financially comfortable for the years to come.

Prince, like his sister Paris, has gotten tattoos as an homage to his late, legendary father. In 2017, he revealed photos of a dramatic new tattoo on his leg. It's an image of his father, in mid-dance and sporting angel wings. "It's beautiful," Prince said of his ink. Accompanying one of the images are the words, "You are with me and I am with you." Prince and Paris also have matching yin and yang tattoos.

Katherine Jackson was given custody of Michael's kids after his death. In 2012, she shared custody with T.J. Jackson, one of Tito's adult children. In 2017, Katherine, who was 87 at the time, relinquished full custody to T.J., citing Blanket's healthy adjustment levels and her own advanced age. Blanket reportedly lives at one of the Jackson's estates in Calabasas, California. It's not entirely clear what kind of relationship Katherine has with Michael's kids; she infamously disappeared for a period of time in early 2017.

Michael's youngest child reportedly had the hardest time dealing with the pop singer's death. A source close to the family said he was "very lost and extremely upset" in the wake of his father's passing. But under the care of his grandmother, Katherine, and cousin, T.J., who have both been Blanket's guardians, the teen has been able to avoid the public's prying eyes and even have something of a normal life. He attends private school, plays sports, and spends time with friends — just like a regular kid.

In another sign that Michael's kids have adjusted well despite enduring very public struggles, all three posed together for an impromptu holiday photo in 2017. Also in the picture was Omer Bhatti, a friend of the family. This was indeed a rare event. Michael's kids hardly ever appear in public together, and photos of the three of them are even more unusual. "Happy Christmas from ours to yours," Paris captioned the image.
