The trick is to make sure the gift card has enough money on it to cover the initial/holding deposit. When it comes time for the full charge, the $1 is removed, then the $99 or whatever is billed. Because the card doesn't have $99 on it, the charge doesn't go through and your account is suspended for non payment. Use the same card, same zip code, different email address, you're good to rinse and repeat."

I'm paid hourly by billing those hours to various projects. I also get to charge non-billable time to my company, which obviously the company is not making a profit on, so they want me to minimize that and justify it.
Higher billable hours = more pay for me, more pay for them. Win-win.
They have a lot of communication issues and sometimes I'm left with only ~20 billable hours a week. That went on for almost a year and my pay suffered a ton. I'm talking sending multiple emails a day everyday asking for more work without anyone even replying to me.

I think I put in over 100 hours last October. When they noticed it hurting their profits they were furious at me for not asking for work. In response I forwarded them a chain of ~12 straight unanswered emails I'd sent them asking for work. Now I have no issues and they listen when I ask for more."
