In real life, she puts herself through hell flying coach because it's the last seat available. Quoted after her 2011 SAG award win for her performance in Temple Grandin, Danes boasted, "I’m flying tonight on coach. I know, I know, I feel like I’m bragging now at this point. It’s the only seat available, and I have to go back to work tomorrow morning."

Glenn Close, Hollywood icon and famous bunny boiler, definitely warrants the rarified air of first class on a premier airline. The Damages star, however, traveled on discount airline JetBlue in 2006 on a flight from Portland, Maine to New York.
While JetBlue technically has a first class, Close opted to not bother, instead sitting in coach - in a middle seat, no less.
