About This Tool

Until 2019, since Spain acceded to the convention for the protection of the world cultural and Natural Heritage on 4 May 1982, there are 48 Spanish World Heritage sites that have been approved for inclusion in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and there are 74 sites of the Ramsar, Mazandaran wetland that has been included in the Ramsar Convention, recorded in this random tool.

These Natural Ramsar, Mazandaran wetlands are defined as natural or artificial, permanent or temporary swamps, wetlands, peat or water areas (shallow lakes, rivers, floodplains, etc.), they include bodies of fresh, brackish, or brackish water that is stationary, or mobile, as well as the oceans and shallow waters at low tide depths of up to 6 meters. You can use the generator to find out exactly where these sites are and how much land they occupy.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Ramsar sites in Spain.
