About This Tool

1862 was an important year for the development of the world’s shipping industry during the First World War. Many countries began to build steamships, as well as steel ships, for military use. In 1862,36 ships were officially launched, and a detailed list was kept in this random tool.

In this generator we can see when each ship was released, the country of release, Builder and location, the ship name, class and type, and the final result of the shipping release. Most of these ships were used in naval warfare, some were converted to commercial vessels because they failed tests, others were sold to other countries, and most of the builders were the ones who benefited.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of ship launches in 1862.
