Harland And Wolff's shipyards is a British-based diversified heavy industry company in shipbuilding, shipbreaking, offshore construction, And marine engineering, located at Belfast City Council District. The shipyard was founded in 1861 and nationalized in 1977. The shipyards built many types of ships, notably the Royal Yacht Titanic, the Royal Navy’s battleship HMS Belfast, and the Peninsula Orient Line’s Canberra.
