  (#30) Ben Burtt Is Responsible for Popularizing the Wilhelm Scream

  The Wilhelm Scream, a popular screaming sound used in over 300 sci-fi and action/adventure movies, was popularized by Ben Burtt, the sound designed for the Star Wars films. He first used this stock scream in A New Hope, when a Stormtrooper falls off a ledge and into a chasm on the Death Star (although, technically, the Wilhelm Scream had already been used in several other films before this instance). It became an "in-joke" after that usage, and can now be heard in many George Lucas films, such as Raiders of the Lost Ark.

  (#1) R2-D2 and C-3PO Show Up in Raiders of the Lost Ark

  During the scene where Indy and Sallah lift a heavy stone slab to get to the Ark of the Covenant, you can clearly see C-3PO and R2-D2 drawn in hieroglyphics on the pillar to Indy's right (the viewer's left). Also, it's a little harder to spot, but when Indy and Sallah lift the Ark, you can faintly make out what looks like Princess Leia uploading the Death Star's plans - and her holographic message to Obi-Wan - into  R2-D2 in more hieroglyphics on the wall behind them.

  (#24) 327 Is a Recurring Number Used in the Star Wars Universe

  Much like THX 1138, 327 is another number used frequently by George Lucas in the Star Wars films. It is used as Boba Fett's clone trooper serial number, and the Millennium Falcon is seen landing on Platform 327 in Cloud City.

  One night in 1935, Lao Che met with Indiana Jones at Club Obi Wan in Shanghai, China, to trade ashes for a diamond. The meeting takes place in the second Indiana Jones film, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Lao attempted to pull one over on his adversary, but Jones escaped. The nightclub is named after notable Star Wars jedi and Luke Skywalker's master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
