  Supermodel and America's Got Talent host Heidi Klum has used the spotlight to spread a traditional singing style from her German homeland: yodeling.

  While it's a talent she's taught to many of her colleagues and co-stars over the years, she doesn't necessarily believe it's her standout trait. When asked what skill she would audition on a show like America's Got Talent, she said, "People always ask me to yodel. I don’t think I would necessarily audition as a yodeler but we did have a yodeling granny this season and I gave her a run for her money."

  Action star and former James Bond Pierce Brosnan is not known to shy away from physically demanding roles. It makes sense that, as a young actor, he was drawn to a striking performance art: eating fire. 

  In an interview with The Guardian, Brosnan explained how he stumbled upon this talent: "Yes, I did a fire-eating act. At the Oval House - this was in 1969 - there was a workshop and one night I came in to rehearse and I looked in and some guy was teaching people to fire-eat." Many decades later, Brosnan still boasts about this lesser-known ability.

  After playing Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movie, Angelina Jolie developed a love for knife throwing. According to sources, she has become very talented and now owns quite an extensive collection of knives.

  Jolie also possesses a private pilot's license, which she attributes to her oldest son. “When Maddox was 1½, we used to go to the airfield, have lunch, and watch the planes,” she said. “And it dawned on me: I could fly. So I promised him I would fly by his second birthday.”

  The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson host learned the hard way about Bob Barker's secret talent when The Price is Right host karate chopped Ferguson's desk in half. Barker, now in his 90s, achieved a black belt in karate and even studied under Chuck Norris.

  Apparently, Norris did not hold back, and Barker hypothesized the intensive training may have contributed to his health issues. "Maybe I should blame it on Chuck Norris," he said. "He probably kicked me in the neck. God knows he kicked me everywhere else."

  Before he was a famous rock star, Jack White - one-half of the White Stripes - was an upholsterer in his hometown, Detroit, MI. He began as an apprentice under a man named Brian Muldoon. He eventually founded his own business, which he called Third Man Upholstery.

  These days, White runs Third Man Records instead, but it turns out he has retained his upholstering skills. In 2016, he reupholstered a couch at the famous Sam Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis, TN.

  Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis was almost an Olympic competitor in archery. At 41, she decided to try the sport, and it stuck. She studied and sharpened her aim to the point of being considered for the 2000 Olympic games in Sydney.

  Though she qualified as a semifinalist at the Olympic Trials, Davis didn't make it to Australia. However, she looks back upon that period with good feelings. "It was the most out-of-body experience I’ve ever had," she said.

  The actress, considered a master archer, still practices when she's not maintaining a busy acting schedule. Her skills were even highlighted in a Funny or Die video.
